Slow Fades is built on trust between buyers and sellers. These terms exist to protect everyone on the platform.

What We Are Slow Fades is a curated marketplace for selvedge denim. We are not a retailer. We don't own, handle, or ship any items on the platform. We are a venue — not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers.

All Sales Final All sales are final. No returns or refunds. Review all measurements, photos, and condition notes carefully and ask the seller any questions before purchasing.

Fees Sellers pay a 10% commission on each completed sale. Payment processing fees vary by payment method and buyer location, and are deducted from seller proceeds at time of payout. No listing fees. No buyer fees.

Seller Responsibilities Sellers are responsible for accurate listings, honest condition descriptions, and actual measurements. All orders must ship with tracking within 7 days of purchase. Orders of $500 or above require signature confirmation. Misrepresentation is grounds for immediate removal and forfeiture of pending payouts.

Communication All buyer-seller communication must happen on the Slow Fades platform. Redirecting buyers off-platform to communicate or transact is prohibited and grounds for permanent removal and forfeiture of pending payouts. We use automated tools to enforce this.

Shipping Shipping is the seller's responsibility. Slow Fades is not liable for lost, delayed, or damaged shipments. All international orders ship DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) — buyers are responsible for any import duties or customs fees.

Authenticity Sellers are responsible for the accuracy and authenticity of their listings. Slow Fades does not authenticate items. Knowingly listing counterfeit or misrepresented items is grounds for immediate removal and may be reported to relevant authorities.

Payouts Seller payouts are held for 5 days after confirmed delivery, matching our dispute window. No funds are released before the dispute period closes.

Photo License By listing on Slow Fades, sellers grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use listing photos for promotional purposes including social media and marketing.

Account Termination We reserve the right to remove any user from the platform at our discretion.

Changes We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated terms.
